Slimey Day

We read a story about what preschool children do in another classroom.  The children in the story made flubber.  We decided to make slime in our classroom.  Most children enjoyed this sensory activity.  We mixed cornstarch and water (approximately 1 cup water to 2 cups cornstarch).   This mixture feels like a solid, but as you pick it up, it becomes a liquid.  This is a fun activity to do at home with your children.
