The children have been studying about families and homes. Families come in all sizes and configurations. The children's home work assignment was to trace around each family member's foot and bring the feet to school. They sorted and counted the different feet. Each child glued down his or her family member's feet from small to large. They really seemed to enjoy this assignment and to discover how big some of the daddy's and big brother's feet were.

The children were disappointed to see another rainy day. Once the "Chicken Limbo" game came out, their excitement returned. We found out just how "low" they could go. I was amazed at how small of a space they could wiggle through. If I ever get trapped in a cave in, I feel confident that they could squeeze through the little openings to save me.
