Preschool Transportation

We spent the last three weeks studying about different kinds of transportation.  The children enjoyed playing with all of the boats, cars, trucks, trains, and airplanes.  They enjoyed making an airplane and sailboat to take home.  We discussed why boats float and did an experiment with objects that sink and float.  The children enjoyed trying to decide which objects would float and which would sink.

A Box is a Box?

What can you do with a box?  You can do anything that your imagination allows.  The children's box has been transformed a couple of times during our three weeks of study about transportation.

Spring on a February Afternoon?

Friday afternoon was so nice that the afternoon children got to have center time outside.  We took our messy play outside and the children had so much fun.
