Early Start on Earth Day

The children enjoyed digging in potting soil to plant tomato seeds.  Earth Day is in April so we planted our seeds to grow tomato plants to give out.  Growing our own food is important so we want to remind people to grow locally and to take care of our planet.  We planted tomato and pepper seeds the next day so that we can take plants home to plant in our own gardens.
