Looking Good, Movie Stars

We concluded our unit on the five senses by discussing that we learn from what we see.  We talked about keeping our eyes safe.  The children made pretend glasses to remind them to take care of their eyes (they also got fine motor exercise from picking up the sequins with their pincer grasp).

We read several books this week by the same author.  We read Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See?, Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What do you See?, and Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What do you Hear?  The children followed the same format and acted out our version of the books.

Preschool Bakers

The afternoon students baked cookies in honor of  "Crazy Camel Crunching Cookies" and the letter C.   They had fun baking and eating the oatmeal cookies.
