One of the children's favorite activities is sampling different vegetables that we've planted in our preschool garden. So far they got to taste yellow squash and fresh spinach. The children really enjoyed getting to sample them.

Veggies are Yummy!
The preschool got a gardening grant. We bought potting soil, more containers, and seeds. We have also been using the Try It! Like It! curriculum. We view a video each week about different vegetables. We see how they are grown, harvested, and prepared to eat. They really like the Cool Puppy Pup puppet that is in the video.
