Welcome to our Jurassic World

Since this is Mrs. Montgomery's favorite unit, we have many dinosaurs in our classroom right now.   Some of our activities include making dinosaur back plate hats.  We wore them around the school and looked for plants that a stegosaurus would like to eat.  We talked about paleontologists.  The children got to use a paleontologists tool (brush) to brush away the sand and find the bones/fossils that were buried in the sand.  We also turned our train set into the dinosaur train.  The children learned that trains and dinosaurs really didn't exist at the same time.
