Since we are studying about animals for the next two weeks, we have opened a pet store in the preschool classroom. This is a popular area. We have registers, pets, and pet supplies for sale. It is so funny to watch the little ones experience money. If you buy a pet, you have to wait for the clerk to hand you some money for your purchase. If it were only so in real life, some of us would be rich from shopping so often. We even end up with long lines at the checkouts-just like we do at Walmart.
