Pumpkins Make more than Pies

We talked about harvesting pumpkins and apples in the fall.  We found out that pumpkins can make more than pies.  The children didn't think that pumpkin soup sounded good so we made pumpkin muffins.  The first step in cooking was washing our hands.  We also put gloves on just to be extra careful.  We used a super easy recipe.  Mix one can of pumpkin with a cake mix and bake until done.  We used carrot spice cake mix to make it a little healthier and because of the fall season.  The children loved the muffins.  One little boy said, "I made these and they are so yummy."
