We use a lot of recycled materials in the preschool classroom.  Mrs. Montgomery made airplanes from the paper towel tubes that we have been saving.  The children really enjoyed painting their planes.  We had some unique paint jobs on the planes and the children.

Walking our Babies

Since there are only three girls in the afternoon class, they worked together to teach the classroom babies to walk.

Watch Out! Volcanic Eruptions

To conclude our dinosaur unit, the children molded clay around medicine bottles.  It took the bottles almost a week to dry enough for us to use.  They then put baking soda and vinegar in their volcanoes and watched them erupt.  The children were all smiles and so excited to finally get to see their volcanoes erupt.  They will take the volcanoes home and can play with them at home now.
