Their tomato plants are up and look really nice. The peppers are just starting to come up. Their sunflowers look nice. The potatoes that we planted in buckets are up. The students will start examining and measuring their sunflowers on Wednesday. We will examine the sunflowers once a week and record the results in our sunflower journals for the next month.

Groovy Gardeners
The preschool students started their container garden today. They planted onions, green beans, broccoli, and cauliflower in grow boxes today. We got a grant to purchase three more grow boxes so we will plant more when the boxes come in. The children really enjoyed digging in the dirt and planting. They especially enjoyed watering the plants when we took the grow boxes outside.
