Leprechauns Wreck Havoc

A leprechaun visited the preschool classroom during the week before St. Patrick's Day. He left his food scraps on the table, his bed in the room, and walked on Mrs. Montgomery's chair. The children decided that he was coming in through the intake vent in our classroom. Cody Miller was kind enough to make a trap for the leprechaun. When the leprechaun came through the vent, he would fall in the plastic bag and be caught. Unfortunately, the leprechaun tore a hole in the bottom of the bag and left a note saying, "Tee hee hee, You couldn't catch me." He left treasure in the sand table and asked the kids to guard it for him. I really think he will be back over Spring Break to get his treasure. I'm sure he will leave some kind of reward for each child for helping to guard his treasure so well.
