During January, dinosaurs became the topic in the preschool classroom. The children learned words such as carnivore and herbivore. They learned about different kinds of dinosaurs. We made dinosaur back plates to wear, made volcanoes, and read lots of books. The afternoon class made dinosaur feet from tissue boxes. We also played dinosaur bones (sticks).
