Preschool, Preschool, Quite Busy. How does your garden grow?

We have lots of "growing" going on in the preschool classroom.  The preschool students have planted their container garden and are now watering and waiting to see what happens.  We have a variety of plants for students to watch.  They planted a pepper and tomato plant for each to take home.  We will send those home soon.  They are also measuring and documenting changes in the sunflower seed that they planted.

Babies Hatched!

Preschool students are excited that fifteen chicks hatched.  We've been watching them all week and the chicks go to their new homes today.  The children all got to hold a chick and see how soft it is.  Some children were extremely excited.  Some children weren't sure if they want to hold a chick.
