The Real Preschool Experience--Finger Painting

Children were excited today as they got to finger paint.  Since we have been talking about the letter B, children used blue paint.  They also got to find some foam letter Bs to put on their painting.  Some also put colorful sprinkles on their pictures.

Classroom Citizens

This week we  learned about being citizens of the United States.  We talked about the flag and practiced the flag salute.  We also learned that we are citizens of our classroom.  We talked about being respectful and getting along.  The children made pictures of themselves and then said what they do to be good citizens of our classroom.  The children had so much fun making themselves and had some good answers to why they are good citizens in our classroom.  Even the adults participated in the activity.
