Future Volcanologists?

The children concluded the dinosaur unit by making volcanoes from salt dough.  The volcanoes dried over the weekend so the children made them erupt today.  We had a little chemistry experimentation when they poured an acid (vinegar) into a base (baking soda). The children weren't interested that they were doing a chemistry experiment.  They just had fun.

Going on a Dino Hunt

We have been studying dinosaurs for the past two weeks.  Today, the children got to be paleontologists and hunt for dinosaur fossils.
