Afternoon Fire Fighter's Visit

The afternoon children visited with the fire fighters on October 10.  The rain started just before we were to go out to the fire trucks so the fire fighters talked to the children in the gym.  The fire fighters said that the afternoon children could have their parents bring them to the fire station and they would show them the trucks.

The fire fighters can see heat in the smoke with this heat sensor.

 If the children placed their hands on the floor, they could still see the imprint of their hand on the floor even after they lifted their hand when they looked through the heat sensor.

 The fire fighters gave each child a fire department water bottle.
