Spring is Here--Almost

We just started our unit on Spring. As a kick off, we have already planted tomatoes, peppers, and marigolds. We put these in our window greenhouse and are waiting to see what happens. When we come back from Spring Break, we will plant sunflowers. Every week, we will observe them to see what happens. The children will each keep a journal and record changes by drawing pictures, counting leaves, and measuring their sunflower plants.

Transportation

The children studied different form of transportation. They did activities involving transportation and made transportation such as boats from milk cartons and planes from paper towel tubes.
