Computers are Fun
The children are learning to use the new PeeWee computers. Preschool received two of the tiny laptops. The computers have a touch screen so the children are learning to use a special pen to operate them.
Afternoon Children Pick Pumpkins
The afternoon children quickly picked their perfect pumpkins from the pumpkin patch next to our classroom.
It's Cold in our Pumpkin Patch
The Great Pumpkin must have visited near our preschool playground. The children were able to select a pumpkin to take home. There is a definite chill in the air but we still had lots of fun.
Our New Hoops
We received these hoops as part of the Donor's Choose grant that parents voted on. These and other active play equipment were funded by Sonic and Nickelodeon thanks to your support and votes. Thanks so much. As you can see, the children are really enjoying them--and look how good they are at using them. Wow!

Yum! Yum!
During our health and nutrition unit, the childrn were discussing foods that are good for us. One child suggested that pumpkins are good for us. The children said that you can't eat pumpkins. We decided to make pumpkin soup to prove that you can eat pumpkins (other than in desert). We learned that it is very important to wash our hands before cooking.
