The students have been studying about the difference between insects and arachnids. They planned what kind of insect or arachnid costume they wanted to make. They had to decide if they had wings, antennae, and the number of legs they needed--six for insect and eight for arachnid. They were allowed to select any color they wanted to make their bug, but they had to select the correct number of legs for it. They began the process today by painting their grocery bag the color/s they wanted. We will have some very color bugs when they are finished.
