We love to read!

Our school year is almost over......The kindergarten children are coming to our classroom to read to the preschool children.  It is so exciting to hear children who were in preschool last year read.  They do such a great job.  This year's  preschool children are already excited to learn to read so they can come back and read to next year's preschool children.  We really enjoy the kindergarten children coming to our room and helping prepare our children for what they will be able to do next year.

The preschool children are well on their way to reading.  Most know their letters and most of their sounds.  They can rhyme words and recognize beginning sounds.
