Chemistry Today

We did our first chemistry experiment today.  The children mixed glue and borax to make Silly Putty.  The fancy term is that we made polymers today but we just called it Silly Putty (Gak).   The children then got to play with the Gak and they also got to cut it with scissors (to build up finger strength and cutting skills).  Most importantly, they had fun.
