Creating with New Art Materials
We got new art materials from a grant through Donor's Choose. The children enjoyed creating collages with the new materials and using the new table top art easels.

Six More Weeks of Winter
The children took the preschool groundhog out to find out if he would see his shadow on groundhog day (Feb. 2). He did see his shadow so according to legend, we will have six more weeks of winter.

Volcanoes Erupting
The children made volcanoes as part of the dinosaur unit. They tested their volcanoes using vinegar and baking soda (colored with red food coloring). We also went online and viewed video of real volcanoes erupting.
